Once upon a time, there was a harmonica club. The club was full of people who were passionate to make it a better place. Yep, I was there and 16kg thinner than I am now.

Pon Yu-Cheng, one of my partners of the club had a dinner with me tonight since we had not met each other for more than 4 months.

It is always good to meet old friends, especially those who have went thourgh so many things with you.

It’s very strange when we realized we have known each other for more than 8 years and left the club for 6 years. All the things we had went through together are now only memory which we have started to forget part by part. That’s why “time " is the final tough guy who you can never beat.

Fortunately, the feeling, the friendship, and the learning will always be there with us.

Days of the wild, crazy and young high school life. We were all members of Cozy Harmonia Club.

The new chief begins!

Yep, it’s time to have the new president of AIESEC in Taiwan. Check it out!

Right in the blue corner, this is our applicant NO.1, the one who started his AIESEC career in one LC and served as a VP in another, the one and the only de…de…Dennis Chen!

In the red corner this is our applicant NO.2 who comes from the most charming LC of AIESEC in Taiwan. Let’s welcome Jessica Lin!

Here comes our lovely sub-committee of MCP election, comprised by Sandy, Steve, Jack, me and Sheana, representing five generations of AIESEC in Taiwan (from 02-03 to 06-07).

Two fighters in, only one person out. Our new chief is coming! Of course they don’t need to box each other, however the challenge to strive for being a MCP is never an easy stuff.

Here comes the first round of MCP election: Interview with the election sub-committee!

The interview took place on Jan 6, 2007. From 13:00~20:00, our applicants must go through a personal interview, a group discussion and a simulation of problem solveing. During the whole process, sub-committee members would assess them by face to face interaction and an observation when they were discussing the issues.

Sub-committee members gave feedback to them after every section of the interview and made an assessment which mainly based on candidates’ manifesto, leadership, people skill and AIESEC knowledge.

In the end of the day, the sub-committee decided that both of the candidates had passed the interview and got the recognition to be official candidates of 2007 MCP election. The sub-committee really appreicated their passion, courage, and ability as a MCP candidate. We also wish they can value our feedback and put it into action to improve themselves to be even better.

So, another stage of MCP election had begun!

It is a great honor for me to be part of the sub-committee. As I participate the election process, not only am I very grateful to work with the outstanding talents but also very happy that 2 excellent MC members could step forward to carry the responsibility to lead AIESEC in Taiwan.

No matter who is elected, I wish they can grap the opportunity to share their joy and thought with all our members and become a better person through this once in a life time adventure.

Let’s looking forwad to their great performance during the election!

When to be great?

These words come from one of my favorite movies, Vanilla Sky. Tom Cruise said that right before he jump from the top of a great mansion to open his eyes and seek for a true life, no matter how bitter it might be.

What he said was:

Every passing minute is another chance to turn it all around.

For me, it reminds me to treasure and be excited to the moment. Don’t hesitate, ignore, and refuge your life, cuz it is irresistible. All you can do is face it or crashed by it.

Recently, I complained to myself a lot, mainly because I fucked up many things. Things were fucked up because I didn’t do it with self-discipline. I was lack of self-discipline because I felt those things were meaningless and not challenging.

But if you don’t think it is the moment, the opportunity you must capture, then you will definatlely let it slip. Don’t mention having no regret in life.

Now I just have to go out there and decide who I am. To learn somthing big from som small things.
