It is sometimes very easy for a man to think his girl friend rely on him too much. This might be a serious misinterpret. All she needed was knowing that you have confidence in her, but you the stupid pal thought she was seeking how-to from you.

This Valentine’s Day was great. But I was again reminded that I am careless and smart-alecky.

Yes, I am usually this stupid pal.

Donnie Darko

In the end of the movie Jake died for the girl and brought her back to life. However she couldn’t feel sorry for his death. She couldn’t even know him or remember him because he died before they knew each other and fallen in love

The result somehow responded to the grandma death’s words, “Every living creature on earth dies alone……"

I was so touched though I’m not the one who really understand this heavy movie. I think I like this kind of story that reflect humankind’s ugly way but in the end admire the good and honest, even if the end is sad.

Driven by the urge of knowing it more, I found a Chinese article which answers most of the mystery. Then I realize the story was approximately about an unknown power just chose Donnie to prevent the world from doom, so his friends and family would all involuntarily do those random things to push him into the predestination.

Just like the Greece tales, all the right things lead into a tragedy.

The one with Daniel & Eric

Last week I spent a very quality time with Daniel & Eric, who are both Taiwanese but AIESECers from New Zealand.

Daniel was than waiting for the result of his interview with DHL Malaysia. Eric was planning to come back to Taiwan after his graduation and try to be a pilot. So cool~

It was in a bar named DUCKBILL in Taipei. They got a very nice entertainment there:

It’s not only a plate for you to hit for the scores. It’s a machine which could automatically count your score and provide many kinds of competitoin for you and your friends.

It might be the best game I have ever seen in a bar.

The price is OK, the beer is OK and this stuff is excellent so DUCKBILL becomes the best place for boring office potato like us.

Call me whenever you wanna go there and I will follow you~

Godspeed, my friends.

Mary (the right one) was VPOGX when we were EB team of NTULC. Don’t be cheated by the look of a tender woman. She was actually the underground chief of the team especially when she was out of patience with the long meetings or our monkey tricks. She left Taiwan for AIESEC internship in Poland in Jan.

Hallie was VPER when we served in MC TWAN. She is so cute and sexy that you could love her odd behavior. This smart babe left Taiwan in Jan and having a wonderful life in Rotterdam as an exchange student now.

Jack my boy was MCVPS&L in 04-05 MC TWAN. I appreciate his everlasting energy and positive attitude very much so that I can bear his non-stop talk show. (just kidding, you know I love you)

Two weeks ago he left for Turkey for the “Meet my Friends" program which is another AIESEC internship.

Recently in 2007, one by one my friends go out of Taiwan and have their life-changing experience overseas. Wish them all the best with their advanture and hope I’ll be one of them very soon.
